XHL blocks have been designed to deal with extremely high static loads without compromising on low-load dynamic performance.
Ideal for use in vang cascades or halyard turning points where static loads can be extremely high but low load fast rolling speeds are required.
XHL Bearings – Twin rows of stainless-steel ball bearings running on a stainless-steel axle with the addition of a protective plain bearing washer.
A key feature within the XHL bearing system is the precision plain bearing washer. When the XHL is exposed to extreme static loads (which would normally cause damage to the internal bearing system) it changes to a plain bearing block. This stops the ball bearings from getting damaged and thus no longer performing as designed. As soon as the static load is reduced the XHL returns to a high-performing dynamic block.
Body – The aluminium body features “ears” at the top of the block. These are to be used when attaching the block and stop the block from capsizing when under load.
Sheave – The stainless-steel sheave allows the block to be paired with both rope and wire.

By combining the Allen patented dynamic bearing technology with a plain bearing peek washer we have created a bearing technology that has extreme dynamic performance even after being subject to static loads of up to 900Kg. Coupled with CNC machined aluminium side cheeks and a precision turned stainless-steel sheave the range is perfect for use in vang cascades or halyard turning points where loads can be extremely high.

Delivery InformationIf you wish to return any items you can do if it is within 14 days of purchase, and please ensure you enclose the following details:
- Reason for Return Or if an exchange is needed the appropriate description of the new item
- Receipt for cost of return of item (refund can only be give for item being retuned due to a fault or incorrect product sent)
- Invoice number
A refund will be given if Items are faulty, items you wish to be refunded or exchanged must be in as new condition and not used, in original packaging in re-saleable condition.
If items are faulty an exchange for like for like will be applied. If this is not possible a refund will apply.
